Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 large red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and remaining ingredients, and saute 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
