Asian Spiced Chicken Wings

Asian Spiced Chicken Wings

3 lbs. chicken wings

1 c. light brown sugar

1 c. soy

1/2 c. ketchup

2 t. fresh ginger, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 c. dry sherry

1/2 c. hoisin

1 T. fresh lime juice

3 T. sesame seeds, toasted

1/4 c. green onion

1. Place chicken wings on broiler pan and broil 4-5 in. from heat 10 min. per side. Transfer to crock pot.

2. Add sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, ginger, garlic and sherry; stir thoroughly to coat wings. Cover; cook on low 5-6 hours or on high 2-3 hours or until chicken done.

3. Remove wings from crock pot. Reserve 1/4 c. cooking liquid; combine with hoisin and lime juice. Drizzle mixture over chicken wings. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions
