I replaced the garlic and cheese with a combo garlic cheese I got at Costco. Also I used 4 jars of the marinated artichoke hearts to save time. Not sure it that messes up the basics of the recipe but it was VERY yummy and a nice change in pace from your typical green veggie.

I made this with frozen artichoke hearts and spinach from trader joes and frankly it was pretty bland. With so many other recipes to try, I wouldn't fiddle with this one.

This dish was a disaster. I was excited because its fiber count was so high, but whatever I made was so hard, crunchy, and fibrous that it was inedible. I have never prepared artichokes before, so I must have been doing things wrong--the recipe did not describe how to prep the artichokes well? I was very unhappy for hours after this cooking experience.
