Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Preparation

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; stir well. Cover; cook over medium heat until liquid is absorbed and apricots are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and extract.
