Applesauce Cake
Here is my recipe for Applesauce Cake. It is simple, easy and can be sliced and eaten like a bread. Or you may frost it with Cream Cheese frosting. I make it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope you enjoy it. :)

Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) applesauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 2 whole(s) eggs
- 1/2 cup(s) butter or cooking oil
- 2 cup(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) allspice
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 1/2 cup(s) flour
- 1 cup(s) raisins
- 1 cup(s) pecans
Preparation
- Mix applesauce with soda. Mix eggs and oil. Combine dry ingredients in order given. Mix wet and dry ingredients. Beat vigorously. Turn into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
