Yield 5 (1/3-cup) molds

  • 1 package unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 (16-ounce) can applesauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Fresh mint leaves

How to Make It

  1. Soften gelatin in water. Place mixture in top of a double boiler; cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until gelatin dissolves.
