Yield: 2 1/2 cups
- 6 cooking apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Cook all ingredients, covered, in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring often, 20 minutes. Uncover and cook, stirring constantly, to desired thickness. Serve warm or cold.
