3. Brown sausage in a lightly greased large nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 to 7 minutes or until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Add onion and next 3 ingredients; cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 7 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add apple mixture, salt, pepper, and sage; cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add rice, broth, and honey; cook, stirring constantly, 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Garnish, if desired.
