Apple Slaw and Ham Sandwiches

Prep time 15 mins
Yield 4 servings (serving size: 1 sandwich)
We love the texture that the apple slaw adds to this otherwise traditional ham sandwich. It's also a great way to sneak a little fruit and fiber into your diet.

  • 1 cup shredded green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds

  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced, lean honey ham
  • 8 (1-ounce) slices pumpernickel bread, toasted
