  • 1 quart(s) Apples peel and slice
  • 1 cup(s) Water
  • 1/2 cup(s) Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Lemon Juice
  • Cinnamon Optional


  1. Put all the ingredients in a sauce pan and cook until tender, about 20 min. Mash the mizture using a potato masher or an electric mixer until it is smooth. Put the applesauce in a airtight container and place in the refrigerator to cool. Once cool, top with a little cinnamon if you like, and enjoy a bowl of fresh applesauce.
