Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 1 egg
- 2 cup(s) apples chopped or grated
- 1/2 cup(s) nuts
- 1 cup(s) flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1 cup(s) thick cream
- 5 tablespoon(s) butter
Preparation
- Cake:
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat, add apples and dry ingredients and nuts. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with caramel sauce poured over.
- Caramel Sauce:
- Boil butter, sugar, and cream for three minutes and pour over individual servings of pudding cake.
