  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cup(s) apples chopped or grated
  • 1/2 cup(s) nuts
  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 cup(s) thick cream
  • 5 tablespoon(s) butter


  1. Cake:
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat, add apples and dry ingredients and nuts. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with caramel sauce poured over.

  3. Caramel Sauce:
  4. Boil butter, sugar, and cream for three minutes and pour over individual servings of pudding cake.
