Made this cake last night (of course, the day my husband and I started Weight Watchers Online). Pretty good, solid recipe. Next time, I would add more walnuts to the cake and a bit less lemon juice to the frosting. The major plus about this cake, if you're on a diet and need something sweet to eat, at least there is fruit and nuts in it, so you're getting SOME nutrition, unlike a chocolate cake. FYI: Serves 12 pieces of cake at 12 Weight Watchers points a piece!

Great recipe! Me and my kids did this for snack and my kids asked for us to make some more! We used to have the Chocolate Custard Pie Recipe we found on GourmetRecipe.com but it's nice to try new things. I often check it out for recipes and cooking information including this website, KraftRecipes.com, Foodiamond.com, AllTheMeat.com, and Gourmandia.org.uk for different moods and occasions. Thanks for this appetizing recipe! By the way, here's the link to the mentioned recipe: www.gourmetrecipe.com/recipes/chocolate-custard-pie-recipe FondnessMedia.com is also a greatly helpful site.

This cake resonates autumn to me. The apple and ginger work so perfectly together and taste delicious. The cake is moist and hearty and we loved the nuts and apple bits. The frosting was delicious. We thought the lemony tang paired beautifully with the sweetness underneath it. High marks all around. You can read my full review at: http://bit.ly/O2mcpx

So yummy even without the icing! Was great out of the oven and again the next day! Will definitely make again. Reminds me of a carrot or zucchini bread.
