This was ok. I think the dish is better with a gravy that doesn't incorporate the same filling as on the inside. It made the dish too sweet, and didn't add enough variety of flavors.

Definitely plan time to cook this dish, but worth it. Also, I substituted the flour with corn starch to create a gluten-free recipe. Worked very well, but be sure to mix the tablespoon of corn starch with cold water PRIOR to adding in the cooking liquid.

This dish was really gross. I used a packaged turkey tenderloin that I guess had been packed with brine or something, because the texture of the meat was slimy and disgusting. That's not the recipe's fault, but the rest of it didn't make me think that it would be any better if I used a fresh loin. Just nothing special overall
