- 4 cup(s) apples chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) orange juice
- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 3/4 cup(s) flour sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 1 dash(es) salt
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- Mound apples in buttered 9" pie plate; sprinkle w/ orange juice. combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until aples are tender and topping is crisp.
