Spread half of almond butter on one side of each bread slice. Layer one slice with apple, cheddar, ham, and lettuce. Top with remaining bread slice, almond butter side down.

Weird but tasty! I love apples with nut butter and I love apples with cheddar, but I don't think I had ever tried all three together before. We toasted the bread and subbed cashew butter for the almond butter, since we had some on hand. I also used more of everything - 1/2 oz cheddar and 1 T nut butter just isn't enough to make a whole sandwich! I hate how CL lowers the calorie profile by calling for ridiculously tiny quantities of ingredients that no one will ever abide by - seems like cheating. ;)
