Ingredients
- 2 Dried ancho chilies
- 1/4 cup(s) Chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon(s) Vegetable oil
- 2 Small tomatoes Peeled & chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) raisins
- 1 dash(es) dried oregano
- 1 dash(es) Cumin
- 2 cup(s) chicken broth
Preparation
- Soak chilies in hot water for 15 minutes. Remove stems and seeds, chop. Sauté chopped chilies and onion in oil until tender. Add tomatoes, raisins, cumin, oregano and broth. Simmer 10 minutes longer. Transfer to blender and blend until smooth.
