Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup(s) sugar
  • 3/4 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 cup(s) butter softened
  • 3 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 bag(s) chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Mix first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients, reserve adding the chocolate chips until dough is mixed properly.

  3. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake until edges are lightly golden, about 8-10 minutes.

  4. For extra soft cookies refrigerate dough 40-60 minutes before baking and between batches.
