- 1 orange
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup currants
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How to Make It
Grate orange rind; set aside. Remove seeds from orange. Grind orange; set aside.
Combine cream, egg yolks, and sugar in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter.
Stir in orange rind and pulp. Add coconut, currants, and pecans, mixing well. Let cool completely.
