Almond-Graham Crust serves as the tasty base for Key Lime Pie with Raspberry Sauce. We pump up the flavor to this graham cracker crust by adding chopped sliced almonds to the mixture.
Makes 1 piecrust
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup chopped sliced almonds
1/4 cup sugar
5 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in butter. Press mixture firmly into an 11-inch tart pan or 9 1/2-inch deep pie plate. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
