How to Make It

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until incorporated, and then at high speed until smooth. (If mixture is thick, stir in additional hot water, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, until glaze reaches desired consistency.) Tint with food coloring, if desired.
