Allie’s Blackened/Seared Ahi Tuna
I love my Ahi practically raw! LOL! You can cook yours a little longer if you like. This was the first recipe we tried when developing our Allie’s Gator Spices, Blackened Seasoning. It was such a big hit, and so easy to make, that we have it pretty often. www.alliesgatorspices.com

- 24 ounce(s) Ahi Tuna 4 steaks 6 ounces each
- 2 tablespoon(s) Allie's Gator Spices, Blackened Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) canola oil
- Cover each steak with Allie’s Gator Seasoning, Blackened Seasoning. Add canola oil to a cast iron skillet and swirl to coat. Heat to medium high. Add steaks and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
