Cook first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well. Return beef mixture to pan. Stir in tomato sauce and next 8 ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, 30 minutes.
Add pasta; cover and simmer, stirring often, 20 minutes or until pasta is tender. Serve with cheese, and garnish, if desired.
My family and I loved this recipe. The sauce was outstanding. This is a family favorite. We did all the steps exactly how they were except we added a little less chile powder. Other than that we had an excellent dinner that we shared with our friends.
i made this and really liked the convience of it being all in one pot and it was very easy to make.my husband and i really enjoyed it,i passed the leftovers on to my daughter and son in law and they gave it a big thumbs up also.
THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD!!! It was one of those dishes that you want to keep eating, but are too full. My entire family loved it too! I will only use this spaghetti recipe from now on. I didn't cook the sauce as long as the recipe called for. I cooked it for about 10 minutes, then added the noodles. I served it with a green salad and garlic bread. I will absolutely make this again!
This recipe is sooooo fun !!!! How can you not like cooking the pasta with the sauce all in one pot! Reminds me of the Kraft recipe for lasagna - no pre cookig of the noodles, even though you are not using the no cook noodles.
