I followed this recipe and then saw it go into the Microwave! Well I don't do Microwave so I put it on the stove and cooked the onions until transluent and then added everything and let it cook down for 30 minutes. Loved it! This recipe is a keeper.
All-American Barbecue Sauce
Serve with chicken, pork, or burgers. Try grilled chicken with All-American Barbecue Sauce, potato salad, shredded squash, and chocolate-chip cookies.

- 3/4 cup minced fresh onion
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- Place onion in a 1-quart glass measure. Microwave at high 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir. Cover with wax paper; microwave at HIGH 10 to 12 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
