Great holiday recipe. Healthier than rice with gravy, but a bit high in sodium. Using low sodium broth would solve this. Keeps well and makes great leftovers.

- 1 cup(s) Uncle Ben's converted rice
- 1 can(s) beef consomme (or 2 1/2 cups water/ broth or fish bouillon)
- 1 can(s) water
- 1/2 stick(s) butter
- 1 can(s) mushrooms and/or water chestnuts
- Combine all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Double or triple recipes should also be baked for 1 hour.
