- 1/2 stick(s) butter
- 1 cup(s) heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cup(s) parmesan/asiago shredded blend
- 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup(s) chopped parsley
- Over medium low heat, melt butter in a small saucepan. Add a cup of heavy cream. Stir until the cream is warm. Add garlic. Begin adding grated parmesan, a little at a time, stirring constantly until it melts and is incorporated in the butter and cream. Keep adding and tasting and stirring until you like the flavor. Add parsley, some white pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Increase heat to medium and continue to stir.
