Must-Make Dessert Recipes

Warm weather is finally creeping in and, if you're like me, that means you're looking for refreshing dessert recipes to celebrate cool nights on the back porch.

For me, a cool and refreshing dessert means fruit, namely season's best strawberries, right at the peak of their flavor.

Drool-Inducing Strawberry Cream Pie

There's something so "I think I might faint" about ripe berries layered in smooth cream filling atop a chocolate crust that makes this pie irresistible to me. Our users agree, just check out their reviews!

What I'm most looking forward to is peach season. Peaches, while best (in my opinion) in a milkshake, are one of the few fruits that are just as delicious hot as they are cold. Take this cobbler, for example:

Pecan-Peach Cobbler

Picture it piping hot with ice cream melting down the edges of the crust. Now imagine sneaking a spoonful of it straight from the fridge in the middle of the night. See? Equally opportunity satisfy-er.

When I do get a craving for chocolate, I skip the heavy layer cakes and go straight for the good stuff: Mississippi Mud recipes.

Mississippi Mud Cake

This Mississippi Mud Cake recipes acts like a cake but really it's the most insane brownie-meets-Texas-sheet-cake you've ever tasted. How can you go wrong with a fudgy cake topped with marshmallows, pecans, and chocolate frosting?

When it comes to summer-friendly desserts, what do you crave the most?
