Whether you’re single and want a delicious dinner for one, or craving a warm lunch at the office that isn’t a frozen package, rejoice! Lékué Steam Case is your answer to warm, succulent, dinners that are healthy, quick, budget-friendly, and incredibly easy.

While cooking has always been a passion of mine, transitioning into marriage and work this past year made it a little more challenging to craft lengthy dinners and master intricate recipes. Although I still love to spend my weekends on adventurous dishes, the steam case offers a perfect solution for busy nights.

After testing the product last night in my own kitchen, two things came to mind during the preparation process: saving money and time management. Although this product is not geared towards bulk cooking, if you are eating alone, consider how simple it would be to purchase a single serving of fish or meat from your local grocery, pop it in the steam case, and have dinner on the table in minutes. With the purchase of the steam case, you receive a cookbook titled, Kitchen to the Table in 10 Minutes: 3 Steps and You’re Done!

I served the fish with broccoli, where I put broccoli heads in the steam case with 1 tablespoon of water and cooked for 4 minutes. I also served potatoes, where I put 1 tablespoon of water, 1 diced new potato, and feta cheese in steam case and cooked for 10 minutes.  The broccoli was incredibly crisp and fresh tasting, and the potatoes, perfectly moist.

I tested out two recipes from the cookbook and was completely satisfied and totally impressed by the quality of each dish.

Provençal Striped Bass:

Ingredients:

1 medium tomato, chopped1/4 cup yellow onion1 tablespoon water1 clove of garlicSaltSugarRosemaryPepper1-5 oz fillet of striped bass (I used Turbot)

Add the chopped tomato to the Lékué Steam case along with the rosemary, pinch of sugar and pinch of salt. Cook for 4 minutes at 800 watts.3. Add the bass to the Lékué Steam Case on top of the tomato mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in the microwave for 30 seconds at 800 watts and let it stand for 1 more minute before opening the steam case.

The second recipe I tried was this delicious appetizer that took only 3 minutes to whip up. These Mushroom Pizzas are so easy, tasty and an excellent idea for a snack or last minute appetizer.
