Brioche French Toast

Looking for a sweet and savory breakfast treat? Keep it simple and delicious with Brioche French Toast. Using eggy and buttery brioche bread adds some extra richness and flavor to Basic French Toast.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Brioche bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Butter
  • Powdered sugar and syrup, optional
First, make the soaking liquid for the brioche by combining the eggs and milk in a bowl. Then, heat a frying pan up to medium heat. While the pan heats, evenly soak each slice of bread in the mixture to ensure each bite is rich and creamy. Once you’ve coated the frying pan with butter, cook each slice for about 3 minutes on each side. Ideally, the bread should turn golden brown before removing from the pan. Top off the French toast with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a drizzle of syrup before serving.

For an extra-sweet breakfast treat, you can top this French toast with whipped cream and strawberries. Be sure to check out Our Best French Toast Recipes for more breakfast inspiration. Bon appétit!
