Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg might just be your new favorite (albeit strange) dynamic duo.
Starting this fall, America's beloved cooking host is teaming up with rapper Snoop Dogg for a new reality cooking show on VH1. Tentatively named Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party, the unscripted show will feature Martha and Snoop whipping up dinner for their celeb friends. #casual
If this sounds familiar, it's because this team has been years in the making. Snoop has made several guest appearances on the The Martha Stewart Show, and the duo recently teamed up for Justin Bieber's roast on Comedy Central. They also appeared on ABC's 100,000 Pyramid.
“My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back," Snoop Dogg said in a press release. "We're gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can't wait for you to see how we roll together!"
Needless to say, we're pretty excited about this whole thing. Here's why we're counting down the days to the premiere:
#1. Snoop will bring a totally different approach to what it means to go green in the kitchen.
#2. Anything Snoop narrates is guaranteed to turn into gold. Case in point:
#3. The Easter special is guaranteed to be dope.
#4. In a dream world, Snoop and Martha have Jeffrey and Ina over for a dinner party and IT’S THE BEST CHICKEN EVER.
#5. The new, Snoop-original vocabulary words that are sure to come out of all this will be amazing.
#6. Martha can continue to set Snoop up for a million weed jokes. It will never get old. Ever.#7. The number of times Martha will pretend "try" to hold in her judgment when Snoop (like most guests on her show) fail to cook a dish as well as her will supply some of the best memes of 2016. We're calling it now. Because who doesn't love Martha's "I'm-judging-you-even-though-I'm-smiling" face?
#8. Because only Snoop can get away with calling Martha "MS."
