Speedy Paella Menu

A staple enjoyed around the globe inspires this satisfying supper. (Serves 4)

Speedy Paella

* Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Add 4 (2-ounce) slices sourdough bread to pan; grill 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Rub 1 side of each bread slice with cut sides of 1 halved garlic clove; discard garlic. Rub bread with cut sides of 1 small halved tomato; discard tomato. Drizzle evenly with 2 teaspoons extravirgin olive oil; sprinkle evenly with 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt.

Menu tip Spanish sparkling wine, known as cava, is a terrific value and makes a refreshing summer libation with this dish. For a nonalcoholic beverage, serve chilled sparkling water with a twist of lemon or lime.
