Quick 'n' Hearty Sausage Pizza Dinner

Assemble and bake these sausage-topped French bread pizzas in less than 30 minutes. Make it a meal by serving with pickle spears and strawberry sundaes. (Serves 4)

Sausage, Pepper, and Onion Pizza

Pickle spears 

Strawberry-anise sundaes Bring 1/4 cup light-colored corn syrup, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, and 1/8 teaspoon salt to a boil in a small saucepan. Cook 1 minute or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in 1 tablespoon anise-flavored liqueur. Place 1/2 cup vanilla low-fat ice cream in each of 4 bowls. Top each serving with 1/4 cup sliced strawberries; drizzle each serving with about 1 tablespoon anise syrup.

1. While oven heats:
• Prepare pizza topping.
• Cut French bread in half.

2. While pizza bakes, prepare anise syrup for dessert.
