Lo Mein Dinner
Make a dinner faster than you can order takeout. In about 20 minutes, the flavors of sautéed beef and crisp broccoli will be on your dinner table. (Serves 6)
• Egg rolls with spicy-sweet dipping sauce: Bake 6 frozen white-meat chicken egg rolls (Such as Pagoda) according to package direction. While egg rolls bake, combine 1 tablespoon minced green onions, 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons duck sauce, and 1 teaspoon sriracha (hot chile sauce, such as Huy Fong). Serve sauce with egg rolls.
• Fortune cookies
1. While oven heats:
• Bring water to a boil for pasta
• Prepare ingredients for lo mein and dipping sauce
2. While pasta cooks:
• Bake egg rolls
• Prepare dipping sauce
3. Cook lo mein meat mixture.
