Carnival Jambalaya Recipe

Need to feed a crowd? In less than 30 minutes? Carnival Jambalaya is the perfect quick and tasty party recipe. Start with Zatarain’s Jambalaya Mix and add in cubed chicken breasts, green onions and sausage of your choice. For larger crowds, just double the mix and crank up your gathering with authentic New Orleans flavor.

2 1/2 cups water
1 package ZATARAIN'S® Jambalaya Mix, Original
1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced 1/4-inch thick


Prep: 5 Minutes
Cook: 25 Minutes

1. Mix water, Rice Mix, chicken and sausage in large saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
2. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
