Warm Citrus Cider

Ingredients

1 orange
1 lemon
1 teaspoon whole cloves
2 quarts apple cider
Cinnamon sticks (optional)

Preparation

Cut long strips of orange and lemon rind, reserving fruit for other uses. Insert cloves into rind strips.

Cook rind strips and cider in a Dutch oven over medium heat 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. (Do not boil.) Serve with cinnamon sticks, if desired.
