Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add honey, syrup, salt, and soda; beat well. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until set.
Note: If available, túpelo honey, which comes only from the túpelo tree in Florida, can be used in place of commercial honey.
