Tropical Mint Punch

1 quart strong hot tea
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup mint leaves, washed and drained
1 quart pineapple juice
1 quart water
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
Ice ring


Combine first 3 ingredients. Cover; let stand 15 minutes. Strain tea; stir in pineapple juice, water, lemon juice, and powdered sugar. Cool. Serve in a punch bowl over an ice ring.
