Sugar Syrup

Makes about 2 cups (serving size: 2 tablespoons)

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 cups water


Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stir over medium-high heat until mixture begins to simmer. Remove from heat; cool and refrigerate until ready to serve. (The syrup will keep for up to a month in a tightly sealed container.)
