Balsamic Strawberries over Angel Food Cake Recipe

Use good aged vinegar for the best flavor.
Serves 4 (serving size: 1 cake slice and 1/3 cup berry mixture)

1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 cups halved strawberries
4 (2-inch-thick) slices angel food cake

Total: 25 Minutes
1. Combine sugar and vinegar in a large bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Add berries; toss gently to coat. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon berries and sauce over cake slices.
