These 4-ingredient homemade croutons are the perfect addition to any salad or soup. 

Makes about 1 cup

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 cups diced sourdough bread
Dash of kosher salt


Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in oil. Add bread and cook, stirring often, 5 minutes or until lightly browned on all sides. Sprinkle with salt. Remove from pan; let cool completely.
