Pair this classic tuna salad with whole-grain crackers or warm pita wedges, or serve as a filling for wraps and pita pockets.

4 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup)

Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) can albacore tuna in water, drained and flaked
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup minced sweet onion
1/3 cup light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped bottled roasted red bell peppers
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

1. Combine ingredients in a medium bowl. Chill until ready to serve.

 

Young Chefs can:

Pour tuna in colander or strainer to drain

Measure chopped celery

 

Older Chefs can:

Break up big pieces of tuna with a fork

Combine measured ingredients
