Shrimp Creole

1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning
1 pound peeled large raw shrimp (21/25 count)
Hot cooked rice


Prep: 25 Minutes
Total: 1 Hour, 35 Minutes

Sauté onion, green bell pepper, and celery in hot olive oil in a large nonstick skillet 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in Basic Tomato Sauce, water, and Creole seasoning. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in shrimp. Cover and simmer 5 to 6 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink. Serve over hot cooked rice.

Note: Nutritional analysis includes 1 cup cooked rice.
