Preheat oven to 325° F. In a bowl, mix the eggs and heavy cream very well. Also mix in the salt and pepper. In a separate bowl mix, together the maple sausage, basil, garlic and tomato. Use butter to grease the inside of the individual-serving baking dishes the eggs will be baked in. Divide the egg mixture and the sausage mixture between each individual-serving baking dish. Set baking dishes in a pan of water to bake. Bake in oven for 10 minutes. When the eggs are cooked, remove from oven and sprinkle chives over top.
