1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons diced celery
2 tablespoons diced green pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup tomato juice
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked


Combine meat, onion, celery, green pepper, egg, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add tomato juice and oats, mixing well.

Shape meat mixture into a loaf; place on aluminum foil on a broiler rack. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
