Sesame Broccoli

1 pound fresh broccoli
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted


Cut broccoli into spears; arrange in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Place on serving platter.

Stir together sugar and next 3 ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring often, until sugar dissolves and mixture is thoroughly heated. Drizzle over broccoli, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
