Sage Lamb Chops

Lamb chops from the microwave? We were pleasantly surprised.

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 (1-inch-thick) lamb chops


Combine first 6 ingredients in a 9-inch pieplate or microwave-safe dish. Add chops, turning to coat; arrange chops with bones toward center of dish. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.

Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH (70% power) 3 to 5 minutes or until chops are pink in the center (do not overcook). Cover with aluminum foil, and let stand 3 minutes.
