Red Pepper Purée

2 (7-ounce) jars roasted red bell pepper, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt


Process bell pepper and salt in a food processor or blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Cover and chill, if desired.

Note: 1 cup salsa may be substituted for puree.
