Rachel Ray's Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Shallots

3 slices bacon chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 shallots minced
1 1/2 pounds small brussel sprouts trimmed,whole
1 cup chicken broth


Prep: 5 Minutes
Cook: 25 Minutes

1. Brown bacon, when crisp remove from pan and drain fat.

2. Add the olive oil and shallots and saute 1-2 minutes.

3. When shallots are tender, add brussel sprouts and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium high heat until they are soft.

4. Add broth and bring to a boil.

5. Cover pan and turn heat down to medium low, cook for 10 minutes or until tender.

6. Top with bacon, serve.
