Pioneer Corn Stew

1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 (17-ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can tomato soup, undiluted
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt


Sauté meat, onion, and green pepper in a large saucepan until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. Serve in individual soup bowls.
