1/2 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons minced pimiento
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
16 slices thin-sliced whole wheat bread, crust removed
Combine cream cheese and butter; beat until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, except bread; mix until well blended.
Spread pimiento cheese mixture evenly over 8 bread slices. Top with remaining bread slices; cut in half crosswise.
