Bartender Matthew Wagner mixes this drink at Picca Peruvian Cantina in Los Angeles.

Makes 1 cocktail

3 cucumber slices
2 fresh mint leaves, plus a mint sprig
1 ounce lime juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces pisco


1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 2 cucumber slices and the fresh mint leaves just until cucumber is broken up.

2. Add lime juice, simple syrup, pisco, and ice. Shake, then strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.

3. Garnish with the mint sprig and remaining cucumber slice.
